My Lampwork Beads

Each lampwork bead is handmade one at a time by me personally. 
I use Effetre/Moretti colors and Vetrofond clear glasses imported from Italy. 
The lampwork beads are immediately placed into the kiln for strength and durability.
After being kiln annealed, I clean each bead by hand with a bead reamer.
Lampwork beads are created on either a 3/32 mandrel (turns into approx 3mm bead hole)
or an 1/16 mandrel (turns into approx 2mm bead hole).

Large floral focal bead has a black core with swirls of striated green vines and white plunged blooms, all encased with clear glass.  Then three large purple flowers are surrounded by tiny white blooms, and finished with another layer of clear glass to magnify the beauty.  The focal bead has a nice double-layer image effect because of the two distinct flower levels.  
Two encased floral spacers have the same black glass with green vines cores, with simple plunged white flowers.
 
Created on 3/32 mandrels.

The floral focal bead starts with a black core encased with clear glass, which then has two plunged purple flowers created with periwinkle and ink blue color glass.  After adding tiny white blooms among the purple flowers, the bead is finally encased with clear glass again to magnify its beauty.  The two spacer beads are basic black glass.
 
Created on 3/32 mandrel.

Pink floral focal bead starts off with black core, swirls of striated green vines and white plunged blooms, all encased with clear glass.  Then two large pink flowers surrounded by tiny white blooms are plunged for bubble centers, and finished with another layer of clear glass to magnify beauty.  The pretty floral focal bead has a wonderful "floating-layer" image effect from the two distinct flower levels of glass.  Two pastel pink spacers and two basic black spacers complete the set.
 
Created on 3/32 mandrels.

Center purple flower bead is created with transparent red cores, covered with purple flowers from white and transparent amethyst glass layers.  Accompaining beads have the same transparent red cores, covered with petite white blooms instead.  All the flowers are plunged to suspend the bubble center, and finally encased with clear glass.  Four transparent red spacers complete the set.
 
Florals beads created on 3/32 mandrels, and spacers created on 1/16 mandrels.
